"You are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes" by Chris Hadfield

I received this book when I went to a speaking event for Chris Hadfield.  I heard the author in-person and can attest to his eye for details and witty humor, both of which are evident in this book.  As you flip thru this hardcover and see its full-color pages, you will see the astronaut's personal pictures from space.  From Asia to Europe and Africa to the Americas, you will see topographical details from all over.  Rivers and trees and irrigation fields sound commonplace.  However, when viewed from space, they are unique and breathtaking.  With each picture, there is a short description and sometimes a little joke.  This makes a nice coffee table book.  What I loved most is that the proceeds of this book go towards charity.
